Peas among Tomatoes and Annual Flowers

Heirloom peas in the background are planted with an Italian Sweet Beef Tomato (on the left) a Better Boy Tomato (in the middle) and a San Marzano Redorta Tomato (on the right) purchased from The Tasteful Garden. A Lemon Tree from The Tasteful Garden is in the pot to the right with various annual flowers in the foreground.

  1. Carol, I love all your companion planting. I tend to have a very organized garden which makes pretty rows, more like a farm than a garden sometimes. I love the peas growing behind the tomatoes so they will have a little shade as the summer goes on. We can't even grow peas here during the summer, we have to grow them in the wintertime!
