Your yard is gorgeous Carol. Is this an old house? I love houses with history to them. Not to be found much here in AZ although our house in 40 years old and has some charm. We live in an old irrigation area so we have access to lots and lots of cheap water. I have some earlier posts about getting irrigation water.
Hi!I'm Carol Asplund from Holden, Massachusetts.My vegetable garden is located in my front yard.However, I also have a well-established herb and perennial garden in my front yard just outside the house where I've interplanted heirloom vegetables from "The Tasteful Garden" this year.I did this 25 years ago and it worked out well, but have not done it since that time until this year.I have a brick walk shaped in a cross with a small center planting and a stone walk around the outside of the cross area.Surrounding the entire garden is a white picket fence.
Roses and peonies were beautiful this year in early June before all the rain. We've had only 5 days without rain in New England this June.
